IMSI 1 - Service Degradation: MTN South Africa
Affected services:

We are observing improvements in connectivity for devices roaming on MTN South Africa. Network registration, Data, and SMS services are now recovering.

We are continuing to monitor the network closely to verify full stability.

We are currently investigating an issue affecting connectivity for devices attempting to connect to the MTN network while in South Africa.

Impacted devices may fail to register on the network or experience instability with Data and SMS services. At this time, this issue appears to be isolated to the MTN network; other mobile networks in South Africa are operating normally.

We are working with our upstream provider to resolve this and will provide updates as soon as more information is available.

We would hereby like to inform you of EMERGENCY planned maintenance work that needs to be implemented on our Core Network in South Africa. During the change window New SIM Connections (only) may experience intermittent connectivity. Already connected SIM's will remain connected and pass data. The CentralFlex Platform and APIs will remain available for this period of time.
